On Monday, February 11, 2019, St. Mary’s Catholic School celebrated the 100th Day of School. Our students are now 100 days smarter! First Grade commemorated this special day with Language Arts and Mathematics activities. For writing, we thought about what we would do if we had one hundred dollars, one hundred chocolate chips, one hundred brothers and sisters, and one hundred legs. We also thought of how many words we had learned to read and spell - it was well over one hundred! For Math, we counted how many times we could do certain activities in 100 seconds. The activities included clapping our hands, saying our ABCs, writing our name, and hopping up and down. We had fun celebrating this momentous day in our educational journey.
