Last week, we celebrated Catholic Schools Week. This week honors how special it is to go to a Catholic School. We kicked off the week with Student Appreciation Week on Monday. Students got to wear wacky accessories on top of their uniforms. Students also watched a movie in the afternoon and had no homework! On Tuesday, we celebrated Spirit Day and held a Minute to Win It Competition in the gym. Several of our students got to compete. All students had fun watching the games. Wednesday was Parent Appreciation Day, and our parents, grandparents, and other loved ones joined us for Pizza Lunch in the Burgundy Room. Thursday was Teacher Appreciation Day. Students also got to come out of uniform if they brought in a food item to be donated to the food bank. Friday was Multicultural Day. Students got to dress either in wardrobe from their culture or in the colors of the country their class studied for Multicultural Day. Our class studied France. Students went on a tour around the school and learned about countries from all over the world. It was a very successful Catholic Schools Week!
