This past week we concluded our metric and customary measurement units with a gummy worm measurement activity. This activity prepared students to move on to area and perimeter next week. In reading we finished chapter 12 of Where The Red Fern Grows, and will take our figurative language test for the first half of the book next week. In science we began studying weathering and erosion and next week we will be in the lab for a couple of hands on activity. Next week the fourth grade will begin to study the regions of Maryland in social studies. We also have hot lunch two days next week, taco lunch Tuesday, and pizza lunch Wednesday The third quarter is quickly coming to a close with the 29th being the last day of the quarter and a half day.
