Awesome work was done by the 7th grade on the understanding about how traits are passed from generation to generation. Here are a few examples of the pedigree charts completed by students.
Using an orange and orange peel to understand continents splitting into pieces and the fractures which occur and well as fault lines created when the pieces must be put back together.

The 7th grade used strawberries, salt, dish soap, water, and isopropyl alcohol to extract DNA from the strawberries.
