This week our students had the opportunity to know how it feels to receive the Holy Communion.
Ms. Grier came to our classroom to talk about Hygiene!

Just a few quick reminders:

- Spelling test has been rescheduled until Monday, March 26, 2018.
- No homework next week.
- Easter Basket, dozen eggs and candy is due on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.
- 12:30 pm dismissal on Thursday, March 29, 2018.
- Easter break- March 30, 2018 - April 6, 2018. (Students return to school on Monday, April 9th)

This month has gone by very fast, in less than 2 weeks we will be in the month of March!!
This week was our final week under the theme "Food".
In math the students learned about the number 6 and positional words.
In reading the students learned about the letter Oo and reviewed beginning, middle and end.
They learned about the sight words "a" and "see" and the "et" family words.
In religion the students learned about Ash Wednesday and that we are now in the season of Lent.

We are working on:

*The number of the week is 5
*Number that comes before
*Reviewing positional words
*Left and Right hand
*In religion we are learning about the Bible
A lot goes on Prek4! Our students have started sounding out words on their own! We are very excited for what the rest of the school year has in store for us. We know it can be tough at times but we are confident that with the help of parents .. we will make it through!
This past weeks have been very busy!
Starting next week we will start introducing sight words and family words. We will also start a new theme "Food" and number 5.
Be prepared to work even harder than what you have been doing!
